About Us

Founded in 2007, Cashmiri London’s aim was to provide our customers with the finest quality scarves, wraps and shawls.

It was important to us to be able to share the level of craftsmanship of both our weavers and embroiderers in Kashmir.

We also wanted to give our customers both in the UK, Europe and worldwide, access to the beautiful traditional designs and patterns of that region.

 Before starting our website and selling online we had, and still do have, stalls at Spitalfields Market in East London. This was where we first gained traction as a business and were able to display the wide range of designs we offer.

We started in Spitalfields Market shortly after the significant regeneration project that marked the change from a wholesale fresh produce market to a modern hub for fashion, arts, crafts and diverse food.

It also captured the creative and singular vibe of East London, something we were keen to contribute to. This made Spitalfields the perfect environment for us to grow and thrive as it aligned with our brand image and customer demographic.
